Every term, children are voted for by their peers to represent their class in the School Council.
In Key Stage 1, 12 children (2 from each class) meet once a week to discuss matters important to them. School Councillors are an important part of our school and have been responsible for implementing many great initiatives over the years.
Those who are voted for to be part of the School Council are expected to be good role models to their peers by consistently showing our school virtues and following our Mission Statement.

Parliament Trip 2018
In January, our KS2 School Council visited The Houses of Parliament to learn more about how laws are made in our country. We were shown around parliament, which included watching a live debate in The House of Commons, and the children participated in a workshop where they made their own laws!
