Well done to all those who won a prize.
Well done to our Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTAs) for hosting their first assembly with the STaRS Team from Hillingdon Council!
A group of our students travelled to Pield Heath School to take part in a Boccia tournament (similar to bowling). The team did extremely well and were perfect ambassadors for Botwell House School! Well done! We are so proud of you!
The school choir enjoyed their first performance together alongside other schools at St Anselm's church in Hayes town. We sang a selection of modern and traditional Christmas songs and listened to Christmas messages from each school before the lights were switched on for the season. Well done to the choir for giving up their time and their talent for this community event.
As it is the festival of Diwali on Sunday, some of our children and staff who are celebrating led the school in a special Diwali assembly today. The children dressed up in traditional outfits and some treated us to an amazing dance routine. Others explained how they celebrate Diwali at home, providing us with fantastic pictures of their celebrations with their families. Thank you to everyone who organised and took part in the assembly. All the staff at Botwell would like to wish our families who celebrate a Happy Diwali.
A Remembrance Ceremony at 11.00am was held, remembering all of those in the armed forces who lost their lives during past and present wars. To commemorate this day, our children held their own remembrance ceremony in the junior prayer garden, where they held two minutes of silence as well as placing a wreath of poppies at the foot of our Mary statue.
